The chicks have arrived!! 125 of them to be exact! I can't believe we are now officially chicken farming! I'm so excited to be raising our own meat and eggs. Meat & eggs that we know what has gone into them. That we know are being treated well.
25 Rhode Island Red Cockerels
25 Araucana Pullets
25 Barred Rock Pullets
50 Silver Laced Wyandottes
25 will be going to my sister in law once they get their wings. She will be raising her from then on out.
25 will be going to my mom once they've been culled.
The other 75 will be for our personal use and for other family members that want to buy a few here and there.
