Crocheted Fish Hat

I love the look of those awesome fish hats that everyone is knitting up.  I found this pattern on Ravelry and was all excited because there was a crocheted version! :)  I'm not a big fan of sc (single crochet) so I took the basic idea of it and made it all up in hdc (half double crochet).  I LOVE it! :)  I plan on making a ton more of these.  Pics of it on a head coming soon! :)

  1. I like the look of the crochet better than the knit on this hat! I think I may make one too. Did you by chance write down your hdc pattern change? I also hate to sc...takes way way way too long and never has enough stretch!

  5. I think Jennifer pulled her pattern. :( I have the tail written up in HDC that I use for myself when making this, then usually wing it the rest of the way with the hat. I can try to write up the whole thing, though. It'd be in HDC, not SC.
