Toddler Bags

A friend asked me to make up 5 toddler bags for her. 3 for boys, 2 for girls. This is what I made up. :) They turned out really well, I think. :)

Gluten Free 5 minute cake

Modified from the 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE recipe.

2 tablespoons brown rice flour
2 tablespoons tapioca flour
2 tablespoons corn starch
5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips(optional)
a small splash of vanilla

1 coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla essence
and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at
1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but
don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
Put some whip cream and chocolate syrup over it and it is even more fab!

Hello Kitty

This one gave me a little trouble as the bow, ears and head had to be modified quite a bit.
Because I loved this pattern so much, I've chosen to continue using it to make lots of Christmas presents.

Baby Girl

Because I loved this pattern so much, I've chosen to continue using it to make lots of Christmas presents. Here is a baby girl with blond hair and green eyes so it looks like it's new owner! I have her decked out in a pretty purple dress with a white diaper underneath.

Mario & Dr. Zoidberg

I'm doing a swap on craftster and decided to try my hand at this pattern. The person I'm swapping with wanted a Mario for one son and someone from Futurama for the other. I chose to do Dr. Zoidberg.
I ran out of peach cotton a couple rows short on Mario so his head is a little squished, but otherwise I think they turned out well.

Mario is now featured on geekcrafts.com!

One of my good friends is expecting a little baby in a couple weeks.

I have a pair of wool longies on the hook for her, but it is one of those projects that you dread as it drags on and on. So, as a quick pick me up, I crocheted this little bunny up for her. The pattern is on the Lion Brand Yarn site.
